Tito Boeri is professor of economics at Bocconi University in Milan and Senior Visiting Professor at the London School of Economics. He has been senior economist at the OECD, consultant to the IMF, World Bank, EU, ILO as well as to the Italian Government. From March 2015 to February 2019 he served as President of INPS. He is Scientific Advisor to the Fondazione Ing. Rodolfo Debenedetti (www.frdb.org) of which he has been Director since its establishment in 1998. He is a fellow of the European Economic Association and the European Association of Labor Economists. He is also a research fellow of the Innocenzo Gasparini Institute for Economic Research (IGIER Bocconi), CEPR (Centre for Economic Policy Research), Centre for Economic Performance in London, IZA (Institut zur Zukunft der Arbeit) in Bonn and Netspar (Network for the Study of Pension and Retirement) in Tillburg. He is a columnist for La Repubblica and has collaborated with Italian and foreign newspapers, including Il Sole24ore, La Stampa, the Financial Times and Le Monde. He is one the founders of the economic information site www.lavoce.info and the federated English-language site www.voxeu.org. He is scientific director of the Turin Festival of Economics, for which was awarded by CEPR for "The specail service to the Profession" prize on December 2023.
