2.1.3.4.1. Green Management and Sustainability collectively with EMIT-LM

Major coordinator: prof. Stefano Pogutz

The major is intended to develop managers capable to foresee and respond to the sustainability, greenand energy challenges. It explores the different ways in which companies integrate environmental and energy perspectives into strategic and operational thinking. Graduates will be able to expand their analytical capacity to identify risks and opportunities related to these issues in order to turn sustainable business practices into competitive advantage. The major builds skills and competencies in management and technology, integrated with perspectives in finance and marketing. Moreover, it provides some basic knowledge in natural science and energy (e.g. climate change, energy sources, ecosystem services). The program is designed to address the following topics: sustainable development and globalization, corporate sustainability, carbon andenergy management, renewable energies, corporate social responsibility, sustainable innovation and sustainable business models, green supply chain management, triple bottom line and reporting, green-marketing, green project finance. Learning tools include case studies, role playing and negotiation practices.

Students choose 3 courses from among a list (to be defined).
