The main career opportunities for Politics and Policy Analysis graduates are:

Politics Specialist

Role in a work setting:
Graduates will analyze and evaluate political issues related to the global socio-economic and political scenario and will contribute to the design and implementation of innovative political strategies.
Political issues embrace, among others, international relations (including peacekeeping and anti-terrorism), institutional relations, public affairs, political campaigns, the interaction between politicians and stakeholders.

Skills associated with the role:
Graduates possess qualified knowledge and advanced skills in understanding the functioning of the political institutions, of the integration and regulation process at economic and political levels.
Graduates possess advanced quantitative knowledge and skills in both theory and empirical methods and they are able to apply them to political analysis. Graduates have a deep knowledge of the process of interaction between economic and political variables and they are able to rigorously analyze and develop political strategies.

Career opportunities:
Graduates will work in political organizations, international organizations, think tanks and lobbies, NGOs and non-profit, public administration, large companies and consultancy firms, embassies.

Public Politics Specialist

Role in a work setting:
Graduates will analyze and evaluate public policy issues related to the global socio - economic and political scenario and will contribute to the design and implementation of public policies.
Public policy issues embrace, among others, international, migration, gender, tax, welfare, anti-poverty, anti-crime, intergenerational, development, public-private policies.

Skills associated with the role:
Graduates possess qualified knowledge and advanced skills in the definition, evaluation and implementation of the policies of public intervention in the economy in all different socio-economic-political contexts.
Graduates possess advanced quantitative knowledge and skills in both theory and empirical methods and they are able to apply them to the analysis of the design of public policies, to the evaluation of their impacts in a given socio-economic-political context and to the understanding of the political and economic feasibility of specific public policies, including reforms.

Graduates will work in international organizations, authorities, public administration, large companies and consultancy firms, NGOs and non-profit, think tanks and lobbies, embassies.
