Intended Learning Outcomes (ILO)
KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING
This course provides an undergraduate-level introduction to organization theory. The course has two main objectives:
- Provide a specialized language typical of thee organizational discipline.
- Provide a 360-degree overview of the core organizational theories to ensure a basic knowledge but adequate and rigorous.
APPLYING KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING
Develop the ability to apply theories, models and conceptual schemes to different business realities.
A course student should be able to analyze, individually or in team, a specific business reality with an organizational frame and expertise. She/he should also be confident in giving advice to design a stronger organization and to increase people's motivation and satisfaction.

DETAILS
- In-class exercises to understand the language and to apply models and theory.

ATTENDING STUDENTS
Written individual general exam on the class programme (60% of the final grade) plus project work (group assignment - 40% of the final grade). The written exam is structured with open questions and multiple choice questions.
NOT ATTENDING STUDENTS
Only written individual general exam with multiple choice questions on the entire text book.
