Junior profile in the field of management of creative and cultural institutions and companies

Role in the workplace:
The BSc program in in Economia e management per arte, cultura e comunicazione - Economics and Management for Arts, Culture and communication trains a broad professional profile, capable of adapting to different professional contexts and able to perform a wide variety of activities (alternatives to each other). Graduates work in the areas of business, management of creative and cultural institutions and companies, either as an international resource or as an external consultant, initially supporting more seniors roles, carrying out activities such as:

  • marketing and communication;
  • sales and distribution;
  • administration, planning and control, financial management;
  • planning, organization and management of events.


Skills associated to the role:
The competences below refer to the wide range of macro-activities that graduates will be able to perform, listed in the previous paragraph. Specifically, the main competences (in terms of knowledge and skills) acted by graduates are related to the:

  • skills interpreting artistic languages and analysis of the cultural dynamics in today's world and their impact on social relations;
  • skills analyzing markets, sales, channel and management of consumers with particular reference to communication, creative and cultural institutions and companies;
  • skills preparing and analyzing financial statements, planning and management control, and related legal aspects particularly copyright and trademarks;
  • soft skills such as the ability to work both in a team and independently; critical thinking; solid written and oral communication, especially with internal or external stakeholders and in multicultural contexts; flexibility and initiative; ability to take on leadership; open-mindedness to the use of digital technologies and constant awareness regarding their evolution.
