Integrated Master of Arts in Giurisprudenza (5-y; Law)

2.1.9. Majors

The program structure includes the choice, at the beginning of the fourth year, of one of the following majors:

Impresa [Business law track]: addressed to an in-depth study of the issues inherent in private enterprise law, with a focus on the rules governing companies, extraordinary financial operations, operations of financial markets, financial intermediation, as well as regulation of competition and industrial law;
Forense [Litigation law track]: addressed to an in-depth study of topics specifically linked to court/out of court phases;
International track: addressed to an in-depth study of topics specifically linked to international public law on the basic of graduates’ academic path prepared to access to national Public Institutions and International and supranational Institutions.

For each of the guided majors, students may choose their elective courses in a selection of courses.

The Program Director is available to provide further information during the office hours (www.unibocconi.eu/officehours). The paths can undergo to slight modifications decided by the competent bodies.

At least one elective course (compulsory course chosen by the student or elective) must be chosen from among those taught in English. If students participate in Exchange, Themis, Free Mover Semester programs, the requirement can be fulfilled through the recognition of compulsory, compulsory courses chosen by the student or electives taken in English. This is not applied to those students participating in Exchange or Free Mover Semester Program at universities not offering courses taught in English, but they must have recognized at least 1 course. For the Themis, they must satisfy all program requirements.

Students enrolled in the International track major who participated (4^th year) or will participate (5fth year) in international programs (exchange, free mover, themis, summer program), in order to ensure the recognition of the exams taken abroad, the possibility, after the international experience, to change the study plan entering, from among the others, courses taught in Italian at Bocconi, only if they have been taken abroad.
