The MSc in Artificial Intelligence is entirely taught in English.
The study plan includes:
- courses (compulsory -1st year; bound choice – 1st and 2nd year; open choice – 2nd year) complemented by lab activities;
- a seminar about AI ethics;
- a work experience lasting approximately 3 months (internship or similar activity);
- one EU language (for non-Italian native speakers: Italian is compulsory; for Italian native speakers: another EU language among those listed in “Guide to the University”)
- the thesis, which significantly characterizes the student’s academic curriculum.
Courses and lab activities are organized in educational blocks, namely:
- Mathematics and Computing Science Core Methods
- Core Machine Learning Applications
- Other Computer Science Methods and Applications (Computer Science Methods and Applications beyond machine learning; Applications of computer science to other sciences)
- Complementary disciplines (Computing and Quantitative Methods in other disciplines; Open choice discipline)
Experience abroad (2nd year - study and/or internship) is encouraged.
