Course Objectives

International competitiviness is closely related to the changing role of sectors, companies and countries.
The course aims at examining the determinants of industrial dynamics and of the evolution of different sectors; the factors affecting the competitiveness of countries in specific sectors; the strategies of firms in those contexts; the determinants of the catching-up of emerging countries in specific sectors; the evaluation of public policies affecting sectoral competitiveness and growth.
