Course Objectives

To work in today’s global economy lawyers will need to know not only the law of their own country but the law of other countries. They will need to understand different legal systems and they will need to be able to work with lawyers from other countries.

This course, which is taught Jointly at Bocconi and University of Richmond School of Law, Richmond, VA, USA, offers a unique opportunity, not only to study comparative law but also to learn the law from a faculty member from another legal tradition and to collaborate with students who will be their fellow lawyers from another country.

The lessons that they learn in this course and the connections they make here will benefit them throughout their legal career.
