MODULO 1: GETTING TO KNOW YOURSELF
MODULO 2: UNDERSTANDING OTHERS
MODULO 3: BEING RESILIENT: LESSONS FROM REALITY
MODULO 4: MANAGING PRESENTATION GROUPS
Attendance at seminars is compulsory for all the four meetings. It will be verified by the teachers in each seminar in order to allocate the two expected credits at the end of the course.
There is NO an alternative way (like a non-attending student) to pass the exam. The aim is to sensitize students to the topics covered in classroom through an active learning; this goal could not be achieved only through home-study, without any real participation in classes.
Students have the opportunity to attend one of the four seminar in a classroom different from the one they’re assigned to, if the presence in their correct class is impossible. Students must inform the teacher of the class in which they attended de facto, to let his/her mark the presence adding the student’s name to the list.
The final evaluation will be expressed as “pass or fail”, and it will be based not only on the attendance to the seminars, but also on the quality of the class participation.
• Materiale distribuito in aula e attraverso la piattaforma learning space
For attending students:
• Course materials (slides and lecture notes) supporting seminars will be made available to all students on the Learning Space Platform.
Class group/s taught in English
Skills such as effectively working in a team, organizing and presenting ideas in a convincing manner, constructively relating to others at work not only increase applicants chance to be employed but also to be rewarded and retained by their employers. Hence, the gap between the lack of knowledge and skills or between theoretical knowledge and practical experience constitutes an important issue especially for newly graduated students.
For this reason we feel the need to offer students of the M.Sc. in Management an opportunity to reflect on (and experiment) the topics listed below. Students need to put an effort to help themselves when facing difficulties of entering the job market (both in Italy or internationally) but also to fully appreciate the learning experience in their graduate studies.
MODULE 2: UNDERSTANDING OTHERS
MODULE 3: BEING RESILIENT: LESSONS FROM REALITY
MODULE 4: MANAGING PRESENTATION GROUPS
