  • Idee e metodi (24 ore):
    • Spazi Metrici.
    • Spazi vettoriali Normali.
    • Contrazioni e Punti Fissi.
  • Dinamica e Applicazioni (30 ore):
    • Programmazione Dinamica e Applicazioni.
    • Controllo Ottimo e Applicazioni.

Course Objectives

To introduce the ideas and the mathematical methods of Economics and Finance.

  • Basic Concepts (10 hours):
    • Linear Algebra.
    • Differential and Difference Equations.
  • Basic methods (24 hours):
    • Metric Spaces.
    • Normed Vector Spaces.
    • Contraction Maps and Fixed Points.
  • Dynamics and Applications (30 hours):
    • Dynamics Programming and Applications.
    • Optimal Control and Applications.

Detailed Description of Assessment Methods

Written exam for both attending and non attending students.

There is a partial exam.
