Synchronous Blended: Lessons in synchronous mode in the classroom (for a maximum of one hour per credit in remote mode)
The course aims at providing support for the main curricular course (in the second semester). It is aimed at students with a B1 (Intermediate) level (see CEFR framework) in order to enable them to take the main curricular B2 (post intermediate) general knowledge and skills required to pass the Bocconi internal exam from the end of the fuirst year.
The duration of the course is (24 hours) in Year One , Semester 1. There is no exam.
The main topic areas covered during the course include Training & Working Abroad, Logistics, International Marketing, Working Conditions, HR Management, Customer service, Talking facts, Management Styles, Leadership, Global Business
B1 Level - (intermediate) general
Knowledge
Students will be able to understand the main points of clear standard input on familiar matter. They will be able to communicate on topics which are familiar or of personal interest.

It is aimed at students with a B2 (Post-Intermediate) level (see CEFR framework) in order to enable them to take the main curricular C1 (Advanced) general course with the knowledge and skills required to pass the Bocconi internal exam from the end of the first year.
The duration of the course is (24 hours) in Year One , Semester 1. There is no exam.
The main topic areas covered during the course include: Communication, International Marketing, Global Corporate Responsibility, Building Relationships, Teambuilding, , Customer Service, Crisis Management, Management Styles, Job Satisfaction, Success.
Students will acquire a good level of grammar and syntax as well as a fairly wide vocabulary that will enable them to be independent users of English language and deal with non-familiar and quite complex topics.
Students will be able to write clear, well-structured and detailed texts on complex topics, showing understanding of conventions, controlled use of organizational patterns, connectors and cohesive devices ; to interact with a degree of fluency and spontaneity that makes regular interaction with native speakers possible without strain for either party; to be clear and detailed when speaking and explaining view points, giving the pros and cons of various options.
