A2 (elementary) general (or higher) entry level is required for active participation in learning activities. Per una proficua partecipazione alle attività didattiche è richiesto un livello di ingresso pari ad almeno A2 (elementare) general.
The course aims at providing level B1 (intermediate) general (see CEFR framework) knowledge and skills required to get the international certification DELF B1 (Diplôme d'études en langue française B1) level B1 general. Fornire le conoscenze e competenze previste per il livello B1 (intermedio) general del quadro di riferimento europeo (CEFR) necessarie per poter sostenere la certificazione DELF B1 (Diplôme d'études en langue française B1) di livello B1 general.
The duration of the course is one semester (1st semester, 48 hours) and there is no Bocconi internal exam.
The course deals with the main topics of grammar, syntax and vocabulary included in the different chapters of the textbook related to various aspects of real life, and aims to develop the skills students need to sit for the final exam.
Namely: Société, Environnement, Art et langages, Gastronomie, Tourisme.

L’insegnamento è semestrale (1° semestre, 48 ore di didattica) e non prevede esame interno Bocconi.
Il programma prevede la trattazione degli argomenti di grammatica e sintassi nonché l’acquisizione del lessico contenuti nei vari capitoli del libro in adozione che toccano diversi aspetti della realtà attuale, sviluppando contemporaneamente le abilità necessarie allo svolgimento delle parti di cui è composto l’esame finale.
In particolare: Società, Ambiente, Arte e linguaggi, Gastronomia, Turismo.

Knowledge
Students will acquire solid knowledge of the fundamentals of grammar and syntax and the vocabulary will be wide enough to enable some degree of independence in written and oral expression and comprehension in familiar situations (threshold level).
B1 - Livello intermedio general
Conoscenze
Lo studente avrà acquisito le fondamentali conoscenze grammaticali e sintattiche ed un range lessicale sufficientemente ampio da consentire una moderata autonomia di espressione e comprensione in situazioni familiari (livello “soglia”).

Skills
Students will be able to: write simple but well-structured texts, briefly express and explain their opinion, understand other persons as long as they do not speak too fast or unclearly, participate in conversations about familiar topics.

Capacità di applicare conoscenze
Lo studente saprà produrre un testo semplice ma coerente; saprà descrivere e spiegare brevemente le ragioni delle sue opinioni; sarà in grado di comprendere interlocutori che si esprimono in modo chiaro e sufficientemente lento e di partecipare a conversazioni su argomenti noti.

The assessment of student preparation is carried out by an international certifying agency and not by Bocconi. The exam consists of two linked parts: written (focused on writing, reading, listening) and oral (final part focused on speaking).

La valutazione dell’apprendimento non è effettuata da Bocconi ma dall’ente certificatore attraverso un esame che prevede una parte scritta ed una parte orale.
