ALL STUDENTS ASSIGNED TO A TEACHING CLASS ARE CONSIDERED ATTENDING STUDENTS
The assessment method (in case of Bocconi internal assessment) is aimed at evaluating four skills: expression/comprehension, written and oral respectively, in analogy with the model of international certifications.
The mark is expressed out of 30.
Students can pass the exam through partial exams or general exam. In both cases, there is also an oral part after passing the written part of the exam.
The 1st partial exam is held at the end of the 2nd semester - 1st year;
- it only involves a written part
- registration via Punto Blu is required.
- students assigned to a teaching class may take it
The 2nd partial exam is held at the end of the 1st semester - 2nd year;
- It consists of two linked parts: a written part (reading, writing, listening) and an oral part (speaking)
- the written and oral part must be taken at the same time, as the oral part is the final step in assessing oral expression skills
- this part can be taken by those who have taken the 1st partial exam (minimum mark 18/30). Students who have been assigned to a class are allowed to sit the 1st partial exam
- enrolment via Punto Blu is required (only one enrolment valid for both the written and the oral part)
The general examination consists of two linked parts: the written part (reading, writing, listening) and the oral part (speaking).
- registration via Punto Blu is required (only one registration valid for both the written and oral parts)

Further details (namely detailed rules and method for final grade calculus) in the course syllabus.
