Mission e Programma sintetico
MISSION

Le risorse umane sono la base del vantaggio competitivo. Le persone sono la nostra più importante risorsa. Da diversi anni ascoltiamo managers, accademici e professionisti pronunciare queste parole. Obiettivo del corso è quello di comprendere le ragioni alla base di queste affermazioni e approfondire come sia possibile gestire le persone in azienda perché effettivamente, al di là della retorica manageriale, divengano la base stabile del vantaggio competitivo. A partire dall'approccio strategico alla gestione delle risorse umane, il corso si propone di fornire le conoscenze di base e avanzate relative ai criteri che orientano le scelte di politica del personale e di gestione dei sistemi del personale. L'impostazione del corso dà spazio alle metodologie diffuse nel contesto internazionale e alla pratica aziendale.

DETTAGLI
  • Lezioni frontali: tradizionale FF con molta interazione con gli studenti continuamente stimolati anche su temi di attualità.
  • Testimonianze esterne: uno o più testimoni aziendali su temi coerenti con il corso, stimolanti per gli studenti e attuali.
  • Discussioni di teorie e/o casi di studio (in aula o a distanza): il metodo dei casi è molto utilizzato nel corso, sia con finalità di apprendimento didattico, sia per gli assignment. Si utilizzano casi, mini-casi e incident.
  • Presentazioni orali di lavori individuali o di gruppo: tutti i lavori individuali o di gruppo e i casi svolti in aula sono presentati e discussi dagli studenti.
  • Assignment individuali: svolti in autonomia dallo studente, sulla base dell'assignment pubblicato in Bboard e illustrato in aula, e consegnati nei tempi previsti.

    STUDENTI FREQUENTANTI
    • Prova parziale individuale scritta: multiple choice questions (15 punti) sui capitoli o parti di capitoli svolti (1,2,3,4,5).
    • Prova generale individuale scritta per gli studenti che hanno accettato il voto della prova parziale: multiple choice questions (10 punti) sui capitoli svolti restanti del libro (7,8,9,10) +1 minicaso (6 punti). Per gli studenti che NON hanno accettato il voto della prova parziale o non l’hanno sostenuta: multiple choice questions (25 punti) su tutti i capitoli svolti del libro (1,2,3,4,5,7,8,9,10) + 1 minicaso (6 punti).
    • Assignment di gruppo su un case study: valutazione da 0 a 2 punti che si somma ai punti delle prove individuali scritte. Assignment individuali: 2 lavori la cui consegna (pass/fail) è condizione necessaria per l'accesso alla modalità frequentante.
    STUDENTI NON FREQUENTANTI

    Prova generale di accertamento delle conoscenze della materia acquisite mediante lo studio dei due libri di testo assegnati. Esame scritto, nelle sessioni previste a calendario. La valutazione degli studenti non frequentanti è basata su: multiple choice questions (31 punti) su tutti i capitoli dei due testi oggetto di esame.

    MISSION

    People are the enduring sources of competitive advantage. People are our most important asset. Since many years, managers, professionals and academics pronounce these words. The main objective of this course is to understand the rational of these words and to learn how it is possible, beyond managerial rhetoric, to manage people so that they really become a stable source of the competitive advantage. In the framework of the strategic human resource management, the course offers an overview of the most relevant human resource management policies and practices. Teaching methods reflect an international and professional focus of the course.

    DETAILS
    • Face-to-face lectures: face-to-face lectures where students are continuously stimulated to interact on current topics.
    • Guest speaker's talks: one or more HR guest speakers from primary companies, speaking on topics that are consistent with class contents, actual and stimulating for the students.
    • Theories and/or case studies discussions (in-class or in distance): the case study method is used in many occasions, both in in class discussion and assignments. We use case studies, mini case studies and incidents.
    • Oral presentations of individual/group assignments: all individual and group assignments and case studies are presented and discussed in class by students.
    • Individual assignments: developed independently by the student following the instructions posted on Bboard, delivered within the assigned dead line and discussed in class.
    • Group assignments: developed independently by the group following the instructions posted on Bboard, delivered within the assigned dead line and discussed in class.

    ATTENDING STUDENTS
    • Partial individual written exam: multiple choice questions (15 points) on treated book chapters (1,2,3,4,5).
    • General individual written exam: For students who have accepted the assigned grade of the partial exam: multiple choice questions (10 points) on the book chapters treated in the second part of the course (7,8,9,10) + 1 mini case study (6 points). For students who do not have accepted the assigned grade of the partial exam or did not sit for it: multiple choice questions (25 points) on all the treated chapters of the book (1,2,3,4,5,7,8,9,10) + 1 mini case study (6 points).
    • Group assignments: the assigned case study is evaluated from 0 to 2 points, which are extra points to be added to the individual written exams (partial and/or general). Individual assignments: 2 pass/fail assignments uploaded within the assigned dead line which are necessary in order to be considered attending students.
    NOT ATTENDING STUDENTS

    General written exam on the knowledge acquired studying the two assigned textbooks on the calendar sessions. The exam is made of multiple choice questions (max 31 points) on all the chapters of the textbooks.
