MARTA ZAVA

Teaching

 

Since 2020, Marta Zava is an Academic Fellow at the Department of Finance of Bocconi University, Milan, and a Ph.D. Candidate in Economics at GSEFM – Goethe Universitat, Frankfurt am Main.

Since 2022, Marta has been a Professor of the Finance Lab (Summer School), and of the Pre-liquidity Events (CEMS) and ESG Supply Chain (CEMS) courses at Bocconi University, for which she obtained impeccable evaluations. Since 2021, she has been teaching International Finance and Investment Banking in master's degree courses and had offered her support to the Algebris Training Camp and the BNP Paribas “Finance, investment and sustainability: thinking long-term” Block Seminar.

Her research activity focuses on venture capital, capital markets and banking, combining financial disciplines with innovative methodologies ranging from artificial intelligence to complex systems. She obtained the position of MUSA project researcher from the Italian Governement to develop her research. Marta's doctoral thesis, “Venture Capital and Complex Systems” was awarded among the best three theses in complex systems by CSS France.
