Biographical note
I am from 2001 Full Professor of Economics. From 2005 I hold the Chair in Economics of Financial Regulation. From 2018 I am Director of the Baffi Carefin Centre. In the periods 2013 – 2017 and 2008 - 2010 I have been Head of the Department of Economics. From 2011 I am Member of the SUERF Management Board. From 2010 I am Associated Editor of the Journal of Financial Stability. I served as Consultant at European Parliament, Inter-American Development Bank, World Bank and United Nations. I have been Visiting Scholar at the IMF Institute (IMF).
