Majors

The program structure includes the choice of one of the following majors, at the beginning of the fourth year:
 

  • Impresa [Business law track]: addressed to an in-depth study of the issues inherent in private enterprise law, with a focus on the rules governing companies, extraordinary financial operations, operations of financial markets, financial intermediation, as well as regulation of competition and industrial law;
  • Forense [Litigation law track]: addressed to an in-depth study of topics specifically linked to court/out of court phases;
  • International track: addressed to an in-depth study of topics specifically linked to international public law on the basic of graduates’ academic path prepared to access to national Public Institutions and International and supranational Institutions.


For each of the guided majors, students may choose their elective courses in a selection of courses.


The Program Director is available to provide further information during office hours (www.unibocconi.eu/officehours). Majors undergo slight modifications decided by the competent bodies.

In order to ensure the recognition of the exams taken abroad, students enrolled in the International track major who participated in international programs (Exchange, Free Mover, Themis, Double Degree Law) can change the study plan after the international experience by entering the corresponding courses taught in Italian at Bocconi.

2.1.9.4.
Free track

Changing to a free-track major is permitted only in very exceptional cases upon recognition of courses taken abroad as part of the Exchange, Themis, Free Mover Semester or Double Degree Law when the rules of the major previously chosen are not respected. The application must be submitted at the Academic Affairs Desk (location and opening hours available at www.unibocconi.eu/academicaffairs).
The "free track" major is subject to approval by the Program Director.
