The computer skills course, Informatica per Giurisprudenza [Computer Skills for Law] (course code 50019), is held in the first semester of the second year. The course is worth 3 credit points. For complete information on this course, please see www.unibocconi.eu/sedin, 'Curricular Courses' section.

2.3.2.
Assessment of knowledge

There are 2 types of assessment methods:

  • Partial exams:

These are planned for those who regularly attend lectures; only second year students can sit for partial exams. Partial exams cannot be sat nor repeated in the following years.

  • General exams:

These are addressed to those who have not sat partial exams or who have not passed them. The preparation of the whole bibliography is required.

For both cases, the exam includes questions (multiple choice and open questions) and computer exercises.
Please note that in order to be able to register for the exam of Informatica per Giurisprudenza [Computer Skills for Law] (second partial exam or general exam), students must have one of the following certifications: a complete ECDL certification (ECDL Core or New ECDL Full Standard), or one of the other equivalent certifications recognized by the University. The certification must be completed and submitted to SEDIN according to the deadlines and procedures published on the website at www.unibocconi.eu/sedin in the section 'Prerequisites for Curricular Courses'.

It is strongly recommended that students complete the ECDL before attending lectures, in order to attend the computer skills course with the necessary basic knowledge.
