3.1.1.
The Common European Framework
To classify language competence levels, Università Bocconi follows the Common European Framework established by the Council of Europe.

3.1.2.
Program structure position
The program requirements of the WBB include a a second European language of 6 credit points during the year at Bocconi. The assessment method include a grade out of thirty which is included in the calculation of the grade point average. The credit points can be earned, upon student’s choice, after:
Teaching activities last one year and are positioned in the first and second semester.

Method of choosing foreign languages
In the class groups taught in English the choice of language courses must consider that:
Students must choose the second foreign language upon enrollment. Any successive changes of languages can be made between 08 - 19 January 2016 via yoU@B>Punto Blu. Students are advised to start following the teaching activities of their preferred language which they intend to add to their study plan as soon as possible, and carry out the change of the foreign language in the first available period to change the study plan. Exit levels

The language learning path
The educational activities designed to assist students in learning foreign languages offered by the Language Centre includes: A.Classroom teaching B.Guided individual study
For courses aimed at preparing for the Bocconi exam, the positive participation in the course together with specific individual study activities can be considered in the calculation of the final grade for the Bocconi exam (detailed information is available in the course syllabus and profiles at www.unibocconi.eu/languagecenter in Exams - certificates>Bocconi exam). Method of assessing foreign language knowledge
Knowledge is assessed by one of the following methods:
For achieving a certification it is necessary to sit for the relating exam at the Official institutions, in Italy and abroad. Costs relating to the exam for achieving the certification are to be paid by the student.

Computer skills
WBB program structure does not include a curricular course of IT Skills to be held at Università Bocconi. However, it is possible to attend extracurricular courses organized by SEDIN, as part of the supplementary activities (see paragraph 8.1 of the Guide to the University). ECDL Bocconi Test Center Service
Students who do not yet have the complete ECDL certification may take it at Università Bocconi. Exams are held each week according to a calendar which is updated regularly. Students may purchase online the ECDL products (at a discounted cost), view the exam calendar and enroll directly through their yoU@B student Diary, using the special ECDL box.
