STUDYING ABROAD

Internationalization at Università Bocconi has been a strategic priority pursued since 1974, the year in which the first international agreements were put into place. Over the years these programs have developed an extensive network of relations and exchanges with prestigious academic and cultural institutions all over the world, which means there is constant collaboration with the foreign universities (business schools and Departments of Economics) on research and joint teaching projects, thus providing Bocconi students and teaching staff with invaluable international experience.
Thanks to its network of international relations, Università Bocconi is able to offer its students several opportunities to acquire the kind of business training which is necessary for dealing with global economic developments.

Study programs abroad:

  • Long programs (Exchange Programs, AEEP, Free-Mover Semester Programs, Double Degree Program, Master CEMS-MIM);
  • Short programs (Campus Abroad).

All the international programs wil be presented in detail during the International Week.

CEMS-MIM Master in International Management

The CEMS-MIM master is the result of an alliance involving Bocconi in cooperation with 28 other European universities worldwide. The program is supported by more than 60 of the world leading companies. The objective of the master is to create European multilingual managers who have the ability to understand and adapt to diverse cultures and the know-how to operate in European and global business environments.

During the second year of the MSc, the program features  an exchange semester, an internship abroad at one of the partner universities, as well as an internship and supplementary educational activities (skill seminars, business projects).

Application procedure cohort 2014-2016

Starting with the 2014/15 academic year for the study program cohort 2014/16 the admission in the CEMS program is upon admission in the International Management Program. Admissions criteria can be verified at www.ir.unibocconi.eu/cems

For the CEMS participation it is necessary to have acquired one of the language certifications valid from among those specified on the website (www.ir.unibocconi.eu/cems).

For students admitted in the International Management program and eligible for the CEMS program, an interview with the Academic Director, Markets and external Affairs Division representatives and/or company representatives of the CEMS Corporate Partnet, constitutes the most important step of the selection process. This interview, which will be held after the applicants’ initial enrollment at Bocconi, will be decisive in the admission-non admission to the CEMS Program.
