Course Objectives
The main aim of the course is to give the students some of the skills needed to understand the methodologies most commonly used in research of international trade. This will allow a careful reading of some of the latest works on the globalization of goods and factor markets. The focus of the course is mainly on the applied theory of international trade and the empirical test of trade models. The course is mainly designed for students with a background in microeconomics (intermediate level) and econometrics (basic level).
