Biographical note

I am a professor of computer science at Bocconi. My research is in analysis of algorithms, computational complexity, foundations of cryptography, and topics at the intersection of theoretical computer science and pure mathematics.

Academic CV

I received my PhD in computer science from the Sapienza University of Rome in 1997. Before coming to Bocconi, I have been on the faculty at Columbia University, U.C. Berkeley and Stanford. I received a Sloan Research Fellowship, and NSF Career Award and an ERC Advanced Grant. 


Research areas

Analysis of algorithms, computational complexity, foundations of cryptography and topics at the intersection of theoretical computer science and pure mathematics.
