Burak Oc is an Assistant Professor of Organizational Behaviour in the department of Management and Technology and a Research Fellow in Center for Research in Innovation Organization Strategy & Entrepreneurship (CRIOS) at Bocconi University. His current research examines how subordinates (or followers) actively shape powerholder's behavior through a process of social influence, and how different behavioral styles of powerholders, in turn, shape subordinates' perceptions over time. Other research interests include employee voice behavior, organizational justice (in groups and over time) and leader humility. Burak teaches 'Managing Creativity' and 'Organization Theory' in the undergraduate programs.
Prior to joining the faculty at Bocconi University Burak spent three years in Singapore Management University as a visiting scholar and taught an undergraduate leadership course.
Burak earned his B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering from Istanbul Technical University and holds M.Res. in Management and Ph.D. in Management from Universitat Pompeu Fabra.
